¡Felices Fiestas! Mi familia y yo celebramos la Navidad con una cena grande y abrimos los regalos (presents) el 24 de diciembre (La Noche Buena). Este año, quiero que Papa Noel (Santa Claus) me traiga una computadora nueva (jajajaja) o un suéter o libros.

Welcome to Sra. Shoen's Spanish 2 blog!

Why did you set up this blog?

I wanted to give you more opportunities to use your Spanish outside of class! I also wanted to be able to share more information about the culture of different Spanish-speaking countries with you. On this blog, you will be leaving your opinions, telling about yourself, and describing pictures and videos. This blog will be your chance to show off what you can DO in Spanish!

Do I have to comment on the blog?

You don't have to comment on the blog posts but if you do, it will count as doing HOMEWORK! Easy, right!? If you are too tímido to post a comment, I still encourage you to check out the links and videos I share and see what your classmates are writing.

A few rules for using the blog:

1. This blog is for LEARNING. Everything you post/publish should be in SPANISH. This means titles, descriptions, videos, and comments. This also means it should be your own work. Translating a word or 2 is okay, but translating a whole paragraph from English to Spanish is cheating and it won't help you learn. You will not receive credit if I can tell you used a translator.

2. You must post using your FIRST and LAST name. That way, I know who wrote it and can give you credit! Any anonymous posts will be deleted and won't count for credit. You can create a profile with your first and last name through google.

3. This is not your personal facebook or Twitter. Please don't use any language or pictures that are not school appropriate. There should be NO violent, mean, scandalous, or bullying posts/pics/videos/comments. Bascially, if it's not allowed at school, it's not allowed here.
